MPU Plus is a service of adlegio GbR from Homburg in Saarland. We explain the MPU clearly and connect people with suitable preparation.
What MPU Plus is – and what it isn't
MPU Plus is an information and referral service. We don't carry out MPUs, don't write expert reports and don't offer psychological counselling ourselves. Preparation is provided by independent partner counselling services. Before you submit, you'll see the name of the counselling service that will receive your enquiry.
How we create and check content
- Primary sources first: we check legal statements against the statutory text – especially the Driving Licence Regulation (FeV), the Road Traffic Act (StVG) and the Criminal Code – on gesetze-im-internet.de.
- Professional standards: for the assessment logic, we follow the Federal Highway Research Institute's guidelines on fitness to drive (Begutachtungsleitlinien zur Kraftfahreignung) and the assessment criteria of the professional associations.
- Visible sources: every knowledge page lists its sources and the date of the last update.
- Guide values labelled: costs and time frames vary by provider and region. We give ranges and say when they are guide values.
- No promises: we don't present pass rates as fact and don't recommend tricks. People who pass the MPU are those who prepare honestly.
How we're funded
MPU Plus is free for you. The partner counselling services pay us a fixed monthly fee. This affects neither our content nor the price you pay for counselling.
